OUTERPLANE 2.5 Year Anniversary: New Striker Gnosis Viella & Free Gifts

Over 1 million players have enjoyed the 1 million-word story so far

Korean games publisher Major9 can today announce the newest update to its TRPG OUTERPLANE, which celebrates its 2.5-year anniversary with special events and rewards on offer. The anime-infused game has been downloaded over 1 million times since launching in May 2023, captivating audiences globally with an isekai narrative itself numbering over 1 million letters in length. 

OUTERPLANE is set in Mirsha, a parallel world where beings from many dimensions are summoned. Players take on the role of K, an ordinary man from Earth, who is pulled into this realm, seeking revenge for a betrayal. Across Mirsha lie remnants of the Scientific Inheritance, lost technologies that fuse science and magic. Inhabiting Mirsha are a host of colorful characters with their own stories and secrets for the player to uncover as they team up and do battle against the forces of evil threatening Mirsha.

The newest character is the Gnosis Viella, added as part of the 2.5-year anniversary update. She is a Dark-element Striker who specializes in weakening her enemies through poison. Even the toughest opponents aren’t immune to her toxic skills, potentially redefining the PvP meta like never before! Her mastery of toxins makes her a powerful force in PvE, too, where her devastating Poison Explosion unleashes powerful burst damage to clear challenging content with ease.

To celebrate the 2.5-year anniversary, various events and rewards have been prepared to express the developers’ thanks to the OUTERPLANE community. Players can obtain rewards through the new character Gnosis Viella’s event story. Players have the opportunity to select Irregular Equipment, a chance to obtain Lobby Mascot, and check out the limited character rerun event taking place.

An exclusive skin for Demiurge Stella is also available. The early-release character Demiurge Stella has been buffed to ensure long-time favorites remain competitive amid evolving battle metas.
