Warhammer Survivors Announced for PC in 2026

Warhammer Survivors Brings Endless Roguelite Mayhem
The developer Auroch Digital, known for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, has revealed Warhammer Survivors, a new fast-paced roguelite scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in 2026. The project is created in partnership with the original Vampire Survivors studio poncle and the licence holder behind the Warhammer brands. The game merges the “survivors” style of gameplay with both the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar universes.
Players can choose from iconic champions drawn from both Warhammer worlds and tackle endless hordes of enemies such as the Tyranids and Skaven across different arenas—from the ashen plains of Aqshy to the twisted corridors of abandoned Space Hulks. Each character has unique weapons and starting stats, and players can mix and match evolving items and power-ups to clear screens of foes in true survivors style.
Some of the confirmed characters include Malum Caedo from Warhammer 40K : Boltgun, a Cadian Shock Trooper named Trooper Koslowski, and Brother Luca the Space Marine Intercessor from the 40K side. On the Age of Sigmar side players will encounter Neave Blacktalon, Gotrek Gurnisson, and Sharynn Azurwrath. Iconic weapons such as the Boltgun, the Astartes Chainsword, Whirlwind Axes and even tongue-in-cheek items like a pot of Citadel Nuln Oil paint are part of the arsenal.
Why This Matters for Southeast Asia Gamers
For gamers in Southeast Asia this announcement opens exciting possibilities. The Warhammer licence has historically seen fewer localised releases in the region. With a PC release and confirmed international presence, players across SEA may gain easy access to this roguelite from day one rather than waiting for delayed localisation. The blend of Warhammer’s rich lore and the addictive survivors format offers something fresh for fans of both genres in the region.
What Lies Ahead
While only the PC version via Steam has been officially announced, it is likely console ports will follow given the team’s history and the broad appeal of the category. With the partnership between Auroch Digital and poncle, the game carries both strong Warhammer roots and credible survivors-style DNA. For now players can wishlist the game and keep an eye out for updates about platform expansions, regional launches, and pre-launch rewards.
THIS IS our take
This is one of those announcements that hits both nostalgia and novelty—Warhammer lore meets the pure chaos of survivors’ gameplay. For Southeast Asia’s strategy and roguelite fans this could be a very special mix. If all goes well it could become the best way to experience grimdark Warhammer on PC, with more to come after that.
