Father Son & Holy Guns Announced for PC

The developer Jumbo Jumps has revealed Father, Son & Holy Guns for PC via Steam, presenting a fast-paced top-down action-RPG set in a stylised dieselpunk world besieged by cosmic horrors. Players take on the roles of the “Gunsaders” from the Church of Humanity who wield steel and gunpowder in a holy war against alien cults and ancient gods.

In this lore heavy setting players navigate a universe where bullet-shaped artifacts have granted forbidden knowledge. Religious orders have seized dominance and launched a crusade to stave off the Outer Gods. Among the playable characters are Sister Lilith, Brother Varun Jiwornbaa Kahmaitai, Father Piero, and Sister Kamara, each bringing distinctive weapons and divine punishment skills to the battlefield.

Gameplay centres on four crusade missions including Guiding the Lost Souls, Purifying the Elder Brain, Excavating Human-Oil, and Extraction modes. Players will fight hordes, defend key points and exploit chaotic powers across arenas ranging from the ashen plains of Aqshy to the twisted corridors of derelict Space Hulks. The art direction leans into bold colours, diesel-era machinery and grotesque horror imagery to deliver a unique atmosphere blending serious stakes with a tongue-in-cheek tone.

For gamers in Southeast Asia this announcement is exciting. The PC-first release means players in the region will likely avoid delayed localisation or console version waits. The roguelite style combined with epic lore offers a fresh alternative to existing shooters and may resonate strongly in SEA’s robust PC community.

While a full release date has not yet been revealed the Steam page is live for wish-listing. Minimum specs include Windows 10, six GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 graphics card, making the game accessible on mid-range systems. Future updates may clarify console plans regional support and localisation for Southeast Asian languages.

THIS IS our take

Father, Son & Holy Guns could become one of the most visually bold and thematically daring shooters to arrive on PC this year. For Southeast Asia’s gaming audience this might bring the wild action and mythic storytelling many have been craving. Track the wish-list now – when cosmic horror meets dieselpunk on the battleground you know it’s going to be a riot.
