Yostar Secures Publishing Rights for Azur Promilia, Targeting 2026 Release

Fantasy open-world RPG from the creators of Azur Lane prepares for a new journey
Yostar has officially announced that it has secured the publishing rights to Azur Promilia in Japan, with the game scheduled to launch sometime in 2026. The title is a fantasy open-world RPG developed by Manjuu Games, the studio best known for creating Azur Lane, marking another major collaboration between the two companies following their previous successful partnership.
Azur Promilia represents a new direction for Manjuu Games, shifting from naval-themed strategy to a fully realized fantasy world filled with magic, civilizations, and mysterious creatures. Players will embark on a personal journey across a vast sky-bound world, guided by starlight, forging bonds with companions, and uncovering stories written across the stars. The game emphasizes exploration, emotional connections, and a sense of adventure that evolves based on each player’s choices.
The world of Azur Promilia is populated by a wide variety of races and characters, each bringing distinct cultures and personalities into the narrative. Among them is Terara, a Furrian huntress who protects her loved ones with her trusted spear, and Han Youyou, a cheerful human girl with a passion for treasure hunting. Players will also meet Shalle Ensys, a gentle-hearted pegasus knight, along with Peipei, a skilled Pammy waitress at JiYi Pavilion, and Nono, a Pammy attacker who fights alongside Peipei as a close partner.
Companions play a vital role in the adventure, particularly the magical partner creatures known as Kibo. These include Cabbird, a bird that uses leaf-like feathers to escape danger, Umi, a curious kitten that enjoys hiding inside jars and containers, and Lepidelic, a fairy that communicates through circular dances often misunderstood as rituals. Other companions include Snow Wolf, a young wolf that protects the Charlulu Village, Bloomy, a shy rabbit-like creature that uses camouflage patterns on its back, and Dizzroom, a strange mushroom-shaped monster with an unusual appearance.
Beyond its charming creatures, Azur Promilia also features fearsome boss monsters that challenge players throughout their journey. Notable threats include Shadowblaze, a massive winged beast, Spitehorn, a large and extremely aggressive bird, and Phantomfly, a fairy-like monster resembling a spectral butterfly.
The game world itself is richly diverse, offering environments that feel distinct in culture and atmosphere. Players will explore Southern Valley, a land governed by the laws of nature, and Mistleaf Forest, famous for its massive and mysterious Mistborn Mushrooms. Charlulu Village serves as the homeland of the Furrian people, where daily life revolves around hunting and foraging. Jinghua Cape becomes especially lively during its seasonal flower festival, when residents gather to admire blooming flowers and enjoy aromatic wine. Meanwhile, Lebe, a mysterious industrial civilization, remains largely unexplored, hinting at secrets waiting to be uncovered in future adventures.
With Yostar handling publishing duties and Manjuu Games expanding its creative scope, Azur Promilia is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious fantasy RPG projects connected to the Azur universe. As development continues toward its 2026 release window, expectations are steadily building among fans worldwide.
THIS IS OUR SAY
Azur Promilia feels like a bold evolution for Manjuu Games, blending their signature charm with an expansive fantasy vision. If executed well, this could be the studio’s defining leap from genre success to global RPG relevance.
