Blade & Soul Heroes Korea to End Service on February 19, 2026

Blade & Soul Heroes, the popular RPG collection game based on the Blade & Soul IP, is set to end its service for the Korean servers on February 19, 2026. The game, which launched in August 2024, had a lifespan of only 1 year and 6 months.

Following the announcement, all in-game item sales were immediately halted on December 17, and the official Discord channel was closed. NCSOFT has stated that additional announcements will provide details about the service shutdown schedule, compensation, and refunds.

The Blade & Soul Heroes management team issued an apology to players, saying:

“We sincerely apologize for not being able to fully respond to your love and support. We regret that we could not stay with you longer after this sudden news.”

They added: “We will never forget the warm words and support you have given us. As Blade & Soul Heroes continues to move forward, we hope that the memories of Hoyeon remain in the hearts of our players.”

The announcement did not mention the Global version of Blade & Soul Heroes. Whether it will face a similar shutdown remains to be seen.

Blade & Soul Heroes offers a combination of action and strategic gameplay. Players can assemble a party of up to 5 characters, each with unique skills and abilities. Unlike typical auto-battle systems, players can actively control characters in combat and strategize to defeat enemies.
