Resident Evil Requiem Promo Clip Sparks Laughs Over “Missed Shots”

Fans of Resident Evil Requiem are having a laugh after noticing that Leon appears to miss shots on purpose in a new promo clip released for Nintendo platforms.
Why Fans Are Amused
The clip shows Leon wielding various weapons, including axes, chainsaws, and rifles, but his shooting accuracy seems unusually poor. Some shots appear to intentionally avoid hitting zombies, which led fans to joke that this might be a clever move to maintain a family-friendly rating suitable for Nintendo’s channel lineup, where audiences include younger players.
While Nintendo doesn’t generally restrict M-rated or adult-level content, promotional material intended for broader audiences—ranging from kids to family games—may be adjusted to prevent overly violent visuals. Despite this, other versions of the game still deliver the full horror experience for mature audiences.
