Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Class Tier List (Updated: December 2025)

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance reawakens the anime-styled action MMO world with a selection of eight unique classes at launch. Players choosing early should know which ones stand out in damage, utility, survivability, and team play. Here’s how classes stack up in tiers based on their performance in solo, team, and endgame content.

Tier List Classes in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

SS Tier

ClassDescription
Dissonance (Beat Performer)A highly versatile class offering strong damage, team buffs, and excellent stagger potential against high-level bosses. It is the strongest DPS among support and tank classes. If you master its skill timing, Dissonance becomes a true team-carrying powerhouse.

S Tier

ClassDescription
Iado Slash (Stormblade)One of the top DPS classes with heavy reliance on Critical Chance scaling. With high Crit Rate, it delivers some of the highest Single Target DPS in the game. Fast, aggressive, and consistently high-damage, it fits almost every piece of content.
Icicle (Frostmage)A class focused on stacking Freeze and unleashing powerful burst damage. It offers top-tier Single Target DPS and provides party utility including teamwide critical buffs.
Vanguard (Wind Knight)Built around chained combos and quick-time inputs, Vanguard delivers strong AoE and Single Target damage along with party buffs. Early resource issues exist, but once geared, the class becomes extremely smooth to play.
Skyward (Wind Knight)One of the most technical classes in the game. Players must manage two resources and multiple cooldown sets simultaneously. Once mastered, Skyward offers exceptional DPS, above-average AoE, and unique aerial evasion options. It is “difficult but highly rewarding.”
Lifebind (Verdant Oracle)The primary healer of the game. High sustain, beginner-friendly, and equipped with powerful group buffs. Requires minimal gear investment and remains a consistent Meta healer.
Earthfort (Heavy Guardian)A shield tank that converts overhealing into armor. Fully unlocked, it becomes extremely durable while being surprisingly mobile and capable of delivering respectable DPS. A well-rounded Meta tank.
Wildepack (Marksman)A long-range DPS class that excels in extended boss fights by keeping distance from danger zones. Its burst windows limit mobility, but its sustained damage remains strong. Considered a reliable Meta pick.
Shield Spec (Shield Knight)The highest HP tank class, offering solid damage and overall flexibility across content. Requires practice to use its skills effectively, but is capable of handling most situations comfortably.
Concerto (Beat Performer)A safer, easier alternative to Dissonance. Strong party buffs and reliable healing with comfortable attack range. Ideal for players seeking an important party role without high mechanical risk. A Meta healer option.

A Tier

ClassDescription
Moonstrike (Stormblade)Scales partially with Luck, making the class easy to approach but highly gear-dependent. Delivers balanced Single Target and AoE damage, though its utility and team contribution feel less impactful compared to Meta options.
Frostbeam (Frostmage)A revamped ice-magic class known for strong AoE and mob control. Great for farming or clearing non-boss stages in Stim World. However, its Single Target performance falls behind in boss encounters.
Block (Heavy Guardian)A tank class focused purely on durability with straightforward resource management and strong damage reduction tools. However, its DPS is noticeably low, and current Meta favors faster clear speeds, raising the question of whether extreme durability is worth the tradeoff.
Recovery (Shield Knight)The best self-healing tank in the game in terms of survivability, but suffers from very low damage output. Since tanks are expected to contribute meaningful DPS, Recovery sits in the mid-tier.

B Tier

ClassDescription
Falconry (Marksman)A buff-heavy class with strong team support potential. Unfortunately, its long animation times and underwhelming damage output hold it back compared to other DPS options.

C Tier

ClassDescription
Smite (Verdant Oracle)A hybrid damage-plus-healing class. While the concept is appealing, its long cast times significantly limit its effectiveness in endgame content. Good for AFK farming, but overall lacks competitive performance.

For players in the SEA region, knowing how classes rank can help make early progress much smoother. Picking an S- or A-Tier class reduces wasted effort in builds that underperform. Additionally, since class balance may shift with updates, these rankings apply to the current meta and launch state.

Remember: every class has its moment. Team synergy, gear investment, and skill usage still matter more than raw ranking.

Pick your class, sharpen your skills — in Star Resonance, even the underdog can rise, and we’ll cheer every victory here at This Is Game SEA.
