Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor Confirms Global Launch for February 17, 2026
Attention, Hunters! Bushiroad Games and WonderPlanet have officially locked in the global release date for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor. The highly anticipated mobile title is set to launch worldwide, including across the SEA region, on February 17, 2026. This announcement comes alongside the reveal of a brand-new, fully animated opening movie produced specifically for the game.
Roguelite Survival Meets Nen Mastery
Moving away from traditional fighting game mechanics, Nen x Survivor adopts the popular “survivors-like” genre (made famous by titles like Vampire Survivors). Players will face relentless waves of enemies, using iconic characters and their unique Nen abilities to survive.
Core Game Features:
- One-Handed Tactical Action: Designed specifically for mobile, the game features an intuitive control scheme optimized for vertical, one-handed play.
- Infinite Build Variety: Through a combination of “Skills x Party x Strategy,” players can experiment with different character synergies. Every run offers a unique set of random power-ups and Nen enhancements.
- Iconic Roster: Assemble a party of four characters from a massive lineup including Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, and members of the Phantom Troupe like Chrollo and Hisoka.
- Auto Mode Support: For players on the go, an integrated auto mode allows for steady character progression even during short sessions.
- Original Story Elements: The game will feature exclusive high-quality 2D illustrations and a narrative experience that builds upon the beloved anime lore.
Pre-Registration and Availability
Pre-registration is currently open on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. As a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, the game aims to provide a high-replayability experience with multiple difficulty levels and legendary boss fights.

Combining the strategic depth of Hunter x Hunter’s Nen system with the addictive “just one more run” nature of a roguelite survivor game is a brilliant move for the SEA region‘s mobile-first market. While some purists might prefer a traditional RPG, the survivors-like genre allows for chaotic, flashy displays of power that perfectly suit characters like Killua or Hisoka. Given that WonderPlanet is involved (the team behind Crash Fever), we expect the UI to be slick and the “gacha” elements to be well-integrated. It’s the perfect way to scratch that HxH itch while we wait for the manga to return from its next inevitable hiatus.
