SEGA CORPORATION announced that Sonic Racing Cross Worlds continues to expand with new collaborations in free updates across multiple platforms. Players can now enjoy guest racers from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Super Monkey Ball, and Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW Comics series), including NiGHTS, AiAi, Tangle, and Whisper. The update also introduces themed vehicles inspired by the unique style of each series.’

Future updates will include collaborative music tracks, stickers, and other content. Additional collaborations with popular Japanese influencers such as Crazy Raccoon, Inugami Korone, and Rejekun are planned, offering fans unique crossover experiences.

A demo version is available for free on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games, letting players try Grand Prix and Time Trial modes. Players can customize vehicles and gadgets, and all progress transfers to the full game upon purchase.

Sonic Racing Cross Worlds will launch its Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition on December 4, 2025. Existing Switch players can upgrade to this edition while transferring save data. The game is also available on PlayStation®5 / PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
