Apple Revamps Siri with Google Gemini AI, Launching February 2026
Apple is set to transform Siri with a major AI upgrade, integrating Google’s Gemini AI into the voice assistant. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new Siri will arrive in late February 2026, marking the first tangible step in the AI partnership announced by both companies late last year.
The upgraded Siri will go beyond previous limitations, with enhanced ability to access and analyze personal data and on-screen content. This allows users to handle complex tasks seamlessly, such as summarizing emails and scheduling events in a single command—fulfilling promises Apple made at WWDC two years ago.
The feature is expected to debut in the iOS 26.4 Beta for developers in February, with general availability for iPhone 15 Pro and later devices set for March or April. Apple’s decision to leverage Gemini demonstrates an acknowledgment that its own AI technology is trailing competitors, prompting reliance on one of the world’s most advanced AI systems.

Data Privacy and Security
Despite integrating Google’s AI, Apple reassures users that most processing will occur on its Private Cloud Compute infrastructure, ensuring sensitive data is not exposed to external servers without consent. The partnership is reportedly valued at around 1 billion USD (approximately 34,200 million THB) per year.
A Glimpse of the Future
February’s rollout is only the beginning. Apple plans a larger AI reveal at WWDC 2026 in June, where Siri will evolve into a full-fledged chatbot under the internal code name Campos. The assistant will offer natural, context-aware conversations, remembering prior interactions in a way never seen before on Apple devices.
This bold move signifies Apple’s full-scale return to the AI arena. Combining Apple’s renowned hardware with Google’s advanced AI could redefine the iPhone as the smartest device in users’ hands in the near future.
