Samsung 2026 OLED TVs and Gaming Monitors Officially Support Nvidia G-Sync

Samsung 2026 OLED TVs and Gaming Monitors Officially Support Nvidia G-Sync

After much anticipation, Samsung has announced that its 2026 OLED TVs and gaming monitors now fully support Nvidia G-Sync, providing a major boost to gaming experiences on large screens. This update ensures smoother gameplay with reduced screen tearing and stuttering, enhancing overall visual performance.

Key Models and Features

The flagship S95H and S90H OLED TVs not only support G-Sync but also come with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. These VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technologies synchronize screen refresh rates with your graphics card’s frame output, delivering seamless, fluid visuals. Previously, Samsung relied primarily on its proprietary VRR system, so adopting universal standards is a noteworthy improvement.

Mid-tier TVs like the S85H also gain G-Sync Compatible support, bringing smoother gaming experiences to a wider audience. On the monitor front, Odyssey G6 series stands out, with the G60H pushing refresh rates up to 1,040Hz and the G61SH reaching 240Hz on a 27-inch display—ideal for FPS enthusiasts seeking ultra-responsive gameplay.

Market Positioning and Gaming Advantages

This upgrade is part of Samsung’s strategy to reclaim market share from competitors like Dell and Asus, who have excelled in gaming monitors in recent years. Even though Samsung still leads the ultra-wide OLED segment with the Odyssey G9, the addition of the G-Sync logo enhances confidence for PC users with Nvidia graphics cards.

Another notable addition is HDR10+ Advanced support on the new OLED models, aimed at reducing the “Soap Opera Effect” in movies while maintaining accurate colors, realistic contrast, and immersive visuals—hallmarks of premium displays.

Pricing and Availability

Official pricing has not yet been confirmed, but the entry-level S85H is expected to be positioned affordably to attract gamers and laptop users looking for high-performance external displays. Samsung’s 2026 lineup clearly demonstrates a commitment to gamers seeking top-tier visual quality and responsiveness.
